These ensembles were formed by Russell Myers in 1995 to give serious classical guitar students an outlet for playing with other musicians. These groups regularly perform works by such composers as Bach, Debussy, Gershwin, and many others. There are currently three ensembles- beginning, intermediate and advanced. All three ensembles are required to give two recitals a year. The advanced ensemble was conceived with public performance in mind and regularly performs at such venues as the gallery hop and other festivals and private functions.

These ensembles are based on skill level not age. Participation is subject evaluation of the one's level of ability.
